Fromm PetFest 2024 Dock Diving presented by Riley's Social House & Sandwich Company

People often ask us how to start learning the sport of Dock Diving.  Well, here is a little something that offers the opportunity to get your dog on the dock and test their abilities in a non-competition format ...personal assisted training sessions with a dock diving instructor at Fromm Pet Fest sponsored by Riley's Social House & Sandwich Co.

Each training session will be 3 minutes long and you will be assisted by one of our instructors. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.  Day-of registration is available only as space permits.

For more information about Fromm Petfest and all of the activities offered, please visit petfestmke.com.  Petfest offers free admission and free parking in any festival grounds parking locations. This is a ticketed attraction. Cost: $20 per dog. Tickets will be sold for some pet attractions with all proceeds donated directly to a variety of pet-related non-profit organizations that are a part of the Petfest Pals program. All four-legged attendees will be required to have a waiver signed for them. Waivers are available at each festival gate or online.

Dogs must know how to swim and it is helpful if they have a high toy drive.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Pre-register for one of the "Try Pier Pups" dock diving sessions by selecting a session time below.  Only one session per dog, please.  You will then be directed to a registration form and a payment screen.  Dogs that are pre-registered will get preference in the running order.
• Arrive anytime before or during the session you have selected.  When you arrive at the pool, we will get you checked in, issue a wristband to humans and put your pup's name on the running order board. 
• To minimize your waiting time in line, listen for your pup's name to be called over the Pier Pups PA system. When you hear it, come to the dock and you'll just have a short wait before you climb the steps and embark on your dog's Dock Diving career.  Buckle up!  It's gonna be a wild ride!

WHAT TO BRING:

• Your dog's favorite floating toy, such as a bumper or tennis ball.
• Collar and leash.  Flat buckle collars only, no prong or choke collars.  NO retractable leashes.  It is recommended that any harnesses be removed on the dock.
• Towels for drying off.
• Shoes and clothing that can get wet.  Preferably no flip flops.
• Waiver for Petfest, see link above.
