About The Event
People often ask us how to start learning the sport of Dock Diving. Experienced jumpers also ask for tips or suggestions on how to improve their game.
Well, here is a little something that can help everyone and it happens the Friday night before Dog Day at Drexel...personal assisted training sessions with a dock diving instructor.
Each training session will be 5 minutes long and you will be assisted by one of our instructors. The sessions are scheduled at 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:30 pm. Spots are first-come, first-served. Day-of registration is available as space permits. Please check in at the registration desk poolside.
Dogs must know how to swim and it is helpful if they have a high toy drive.
COST: $15.00 per 5 min assisted session, paid on arrival, cash or personal checks only.
WHEN: Friday, July 24th at 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm
WHAT TO BRING:
- Your dog's favorite floating toy, such as a bumper or tennis ball.
- Collar and leash. Flat buckle collars only, no prong or choke collars. NO retractable leashes. It is recommended that any harnesses be removed on the dock.
- Towels for drying off.
- Shoes and clothing that can get wet. Preferably no flip flops.
Other Information: A current copy of the Official Rules can be found on the Games and Official Rules page. If you are new to dock diving with Pier Pups, you can find tips and advice on our Getting Started page.
